On the site of a former kindergarten, the project converts existing buildings into indoor and outdoor butterfly habitats, woven together by walkways, fruit orchards, and pollinator islands that naturally attract butterflies and hummingbirds. A sports court, children’s play areas, and an open-air auditorium coexist with this endemic vegetation, giving the town’s nearly 4,000 residents a gathering place that strengthens community identity and honors the town’s name.
